Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Reverse It on iPhone or Android, a fast, laugh-out-loud audio party game where you say words backward and your friends guess them. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to being transparent about how we handle your information.

1. Summary

Reverse It does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not use analytics or tracking. Your games, recordings, and settings stay on your device. The only information that leaves your device is described below: purchase records (handled by Apple or Google and RevenueCat) and feedback you choose to send us.

2. Microphone and Recordings

Reverse It uses your microphone only while you hold the record button. Recordings are processed on your device to play them backwards and are kept only in the app's temporary cache, which the app clears after each round and your device can clear at any time. Recordings are never uploaded, shared, or sent to us or anyone else.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

Theme packs and the Unlimited Party Pass are sold through the Apple App Store on iPhone and Google Play on Android. Apple or Google processes your payment; we never see your payment card or billing details.

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to confirm purchases, restore them, and unlock content across reinstalls. To do this, RevenueCat receives:

• An anonymous app user ID that RevenueCat generates for your install. It is not tied to your name, email, or Apple or Google account.
• Purchase history: which products you bought, when, and in which store and currency, along with transaction identifiers from Apple or Google.
• Basic device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, store country, and IP address.

This information is used only to provide and restore your purchases, prevent fraud, and understand sales. RevenueCat processes it under its own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

4. Feedback

If you send feedback from the app, we receive your message, the app version, your device model, and your email address if you choose to include one. Feedback is delivered to us through Formspree (formspree.io). We use it only to read and reply to your feedback.

5. Advertising IDs and Tracking

Reverse It does not collect the Android Advertising ID, Apple's Advertising Identifier (IDFA), or any other identifier for advertising, and it does not track you across other apps or websites. There are no ads and no analytics SDKs in the app.

6. Reminders and Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app may schedule game night reminders. They are created and delivered on your device and are not sent from a server. You can turn them off in the app's settings or your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Reverse It is intended for ages 13 and up and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through the feedback form, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Uninstalling the app removes everything it stores on your device. Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google and RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide your purchases and meet legal requirements. To delete your data from Reverse It: email playreverseit@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data". To delete feedback, send it from the email address you used (or describe the message). To delete purchase records held by RevenueCat, include your Google Play order number (starts with GPA.) or your App Store receipt. We delete feedback within 30 days and ask RevenueCat to delete the matching customer record. Apple or Google keep their own copy of your purchase as required by law, and restoring purchases afterward recreates a new anonymous record.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed, and significant changes will be noted in the app or on the App Store and Google Play listings.
